What do you mean by “Round Up?”
“Round-up” is a term used to refer to your spare change after making a credit/debit card transaction. For example, if you bought lunch for $7.61 on a credit/debit card that is registered for change round-up, the corresponding change it would take to round-up to the nearest dollar, $0.39, would be donated directly to HMM.
How much will be donated each month?
The change from your everyday purchases will vary month to month. However, you will have the ability to set a monthly cap.
Are my donations tax deductible?
Donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law, just like a normal donation to a tax-exempt nonprofit organization.
How are you keeping my credit card information secure?
We use Stripe as our payment processor, the same company that does payment processing for Amazon, Facebook, Lyft, and 100,000 other organizations. Only Stripe has access to your credit or debit card number.
Why am I logging in to my card provider?
In order for your card provider to process Change Round-up, you have to authorize it, by logging into your card account. The financial institution that supports your card is usually listed on the back of your card.
Is my sensitive information safe?
YES! Your username and password is protected by your card provider, we DO NOT see or receive ANY of your login information.
Can I cancel my change round-up?
Yes, you can cancel or adjust your change round-up at any time.
Is there another way for me to support HMM other than change round up?
